Information on how to enter and how to claim prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

To be eligible to enter, individuals must;

a) purchase any Optimum Nutrition product from a participating retail store or online-store displaying advertising from the Promtion, during the Promotional Period; and

b) to enter the judging, individuals must then visit the Promotion entry page at  www.optimumnutrition.com/en-au/mclaren-racing-melbourne2025, and answer the promotion entry question, in thirty (30) words or less, “Why should you win the ultimate experience with McLaren Racing in Melbourne, in March next year’?; fully complete and submit the online entry form with their personal details including but not limited to first name, last name, email address, mobile number and receipt number; and

c) be available to accept their prize, in its entirety, if they are a winner

(‘Eligible Entrant’)

Entrants must complete an online entry form for each eligible entry. Only one entry per product purchase, per day will be permitted.

  1. Entry is open to all Australian and New Zealand residents aged 18 years or over. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and its contractors and agencies associated with the promotion are ineligible to enter. “Immediate family” means spouse, parent, grand parent, aunt/uncle, natural or adopted child, sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent), first cousins, whether or not they live in the same household as the director, manger, employee, officer or contractor.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions will be accepted at the Promoter's discretion.
  3. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
  4. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid. This is a game of skill, and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged by a panel of judges appointed by the Promotor in its sole discretion.
  5. Multiple entries are permitted, subject to the following:
    (a) only one entry permitted per specified purchase requirement per day; and
    (b) each entry must be submitted in accordance with entry requirements.
  6. Entrants must retain a photocopy of their receipt(s) and order number(s) as proof of receipt as they may be requested to send the original(s) to the Promoter. Failure to produce the proof of receipt for all entries if requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.
  7. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.
  8. Promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 1 October 2024 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October 2024 (Promotion Period).
  9. To be entered in the judging entries must be made via optimumnutrition.com/en-au/mclaren-racing-melbourne2025and must be received by 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October 2024.
  10. All claims made for prizes must be received by 5:00pm AEDT on 9 December 2024.
  11. The Judging of all entries will take place at the offices of the Promoter Glanbia Performance Nutrition at Unit 4/247 Ferntree Gully Rd, Mount Waverly, VIC at 10:00am AEDT on 7 November 2024. The twenty-one (21) Eligible Entrants who, in the opinion of the Judging Panel, submit the most creative, original and apt response to the promotion question, in 30 words or less, will be the winners. The entrant with the most creative, original and apt response to the promotion question of all entries received, will be the winner of the Major Prize, and the next twenty most creative, original and apt responses to the promotion question will each be a Minor Winner.
  12. Winning entries will be judged pertinent to the quantity of prizes available for each prize.
  13. The winners will be contacted by email within two (2) business days of the judging. Except where a winner has requested their name and postcode not to be published, the first initial, surname and postcode of each winner will be published on optimumnutrition.com/en-au/mclaren-racing-melbourne2025 within 30 days of the winner selection date.

  1. Total prize pool value is up to AU$44,604.00 (NZ$48,754.46). Values are correct as of 12 August 2024. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation of the value of the prizes.
  2. If any prize (or part of any prize) is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize (or that part of the prize) with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
  3. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
  4. Unless expressly stated, all costs and expenses associated with taking the Major Prize become the responsibility of the winner and their guest including but not limited to: additional taxes (excluding departure and any other flight-associated taxes, where flights are included in the Prize); costs associated with inoculations, passports and/or visa applications; transfers; travel insurance; spending money; meals; transport to/from an airport departure or return point; any extra sightseeing or activities; and all other incidental and ancillary costs incurred by the winner and their guest as a direct or indirect result of taking the Prize.
  5. The Major winner and their guest must ensure that they have valid documentation for travel, including but not limited to valid passports and visas, which meet the requirements of immigration and other government authorities at every destination. Any fines, penalties, payments or expenditures incurred as a result of such documents not meeting the requirements of those authorities will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest. If the Major winner or their guest are refused entry to the destination country for any reason or prior to their departure to/from Australia are not granted a visa, where applicable, they will forfeit the Prize and no compensation or substitute will be offered.
  6. If the Major winner and/or their guest determine that travel insurance is required they will be responsible for arranging and paying for such travel insurance.
  7. If the Major Prize includes international or domestic travel, the Prize cannot be taken during peak periods or any travel ‘blackout’ periods applying which will be specified by the Promoter or applicable prize provider, and must be booked and completed as specified by the Promoter and/or the Major prize provider or organiser of the Major Prize. Itinerary may have to be adjusted.
  8. All travel must be taken or completed by any dates specified by the Promoter and/or Major prize supplier and is subject to availability. As the Major prize is event based, travel must be taken to coincide with the relevant event on the dates specified by the Promoter.
  9. The Promoter is not responsible for any cancellation, changes, delay or rescheduling of events, travel, activities and flights and any costs incurred as a result (including, without limitation, accommodation costs and any amendment fees issued by airlines or suppliers once booking is confirmed and ticketed) will be the sole responsibility of the winner and their guest. In the event that one or more event or activity is no longer available, the remainder of the Major prize shall constitute the complete and total Major Prize.
  10. If the Major winner or their guest is a resident of the city/state where Major Prize is to take place, they will forfeit the domestic/international flight component of the Major Prize and no substitute will be offered.
  11. Frequent Flyer points are not available for any of the flights included in the Major Prize.
  12. Airline tickets included in the Major Prize cannot be used as part-payment of another airfare.
  13. Any travel and accommodation constituting part of the Major Prize are subject to booking availability, availability of select seat class with airlines or specific room category availability with accommodation partner.
  14. The Major winner and their guest must travel at the same time (including flights and accommodation) and participate in the Major Prize together at all times. Any accommodation will be one (1) room to be shared by the winner and their guest. All components of the travel Major Prize must be taken together and when offered or are forfeited. Any element of the Major Prize not taken will be deemed to be forfeited.
  15. The Major winner and their guest must depart from and return to the same capital city airport in Australia, being the capital city airport that is closest to the winner’s place of residence.
  16. If the Major winner and/or their guest miss any of the arranged flights or any other travel component, the Major winner will forfeit the Major Prize (at the Promoter’s sole and absolute discretion).
  17. Unless otherwise specified in these Terms & Conditions, it is the winner's responsibility to organise transport to/from the airport departure/return point.
  18. Redeeming the Major Prize and any tickets, passes or vouchers issued as part of the Major Prize is conditional on acceptance of terms and conditions as detailed by the Promoter, any prize providers and the airline carriers in accordance with normal travel practices.
  19. A credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the Major winner and/or their guest at check-in to the hotel, for all incidental charges.
  20. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety conditions or any other conditions that may exist at any destination.
  21. The Major winner and their guest must follow all reasonable directions given by the Promoter and any prize supplier during the course of their participation in the Major Prize, including all directions in relation to health, age, behaviour, safety and legal and responsible consumption of alcohol. No compensation will be payable if the Major winner and/or their guest are unable to use any element of the Major Prize as stated for whatever reason, including refusal of entry or departure into or out of the relevant country or participation in any other activities for health, age, behaviour or safety reasons. If the Major winner or their guests fails to participate in the Major Prize in the manner required, as stated in this condition and/or in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter or any prize supplier, the balance of the Major Prize will be forfeited with no compensation payable.

In regards to the attendance at the Major Prize event, the following terms will apply:

  • Attendance must be taken to coincide with that event. Major Prize is only valid on the dates advised by the Promoter and can only be redeemed in accordance with the Major Prize supplier’s terms and conditions.
  • I.D to enter the venue is required. The venue reserves the right to refuse any person entry into the venue, including, but not limited to, those who appear drunk or intoxicated.
  • Dress standards apply (at the discretion of the venue).
  • The Promoter will not be liable and takes no responsibility for any refusal of entry by the venue of any person for any reason.
  • Responsible services of alcohol laws will be strictly enforced.
  • If any part of the event is abandoned, called off, varied or postponed for any reason, then at the Promoter’s discretion, the relevant winner (and their guests, if applicable) forfeits all rights to attend the relevant event and no cash or alternative tickets will be substituted for that element of the Major Prize.
  • If the Major Prize involves the winner and any guests (if applicable) attending an event, meeting or attending a function with a celebrity or other public figure, the Promoter will not be liable for the failure of the winner (and their guests, if applicable) to meet that person or failure of that person to attend the function, for whatever reason.
  1. A rejudging for any unclaimed or forfeited prize/s will take place on 16 December 2024 at the same time and place as the original judging, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner/s will be the entry/ies judged as the next most creative, original and apt response to the promotion question. Winner/s in the unclaimed prize judging will be notified in writing within two (2) business days of the judging. Rejudged winner/s of each prize, if any, will also be notified by phone and (except where a winner has requested their name and postcard not be published, the first initial, surname and postcode of each winner will be published at optimumnutrition.com/en-au/mclaren-racing-melbourne2025 within 30 days of rejudge date.
  2. The Promoter reserves the right to judge the equivalent number of additional reserve entries and record them in order in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is judged.
  3. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
  4. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant's name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter.
  5. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
  6. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that entrant invalid.
  7. Printing and other quality control errors will not invalidate an otherwise valid prize claim. Unless otherwise due to fraud or ineligibility under these Terms and Conditions, all prize claims in excess of the advertised prize pool will be honoured.
  8. Except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion, including, but not limited to, where arising out of the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a winner or entrant; or (f) use of a prize.
  9. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to third parties, including, but not limited to, prize suppliers and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised by the entrant, use the entrant’s personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant.   10. The laws of Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
