High Protein Creamy Mac & Cheese
Directions
- Cook the pasta as per pack instructions.
- Put 3 tablespoons of boiling water into a large pot and add the chopped onion and a large pinch of salt. Sauté the onion over a medium heat for 4-5 minutes stirring frequently and adding more boiling water if necessary.
- Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
- Add the milk, cold water, bouillon and English mustard powder. Season with a pinch more salt and a good grinding of black pepper.
- Bring the boil and simmer for 5-6 minutes.
- Mix in the Gold Standard 100% Casein and grated cheese and stir well until the cheese melts.
- Drain the pasta and add to the sauce and stir to mix.
- Serve with fresh parsley leaves scattered over the top.
